It took 41-year-old Russian Konstantin Erokhin seventy seconds to knock out his compatriot Ivan Shtyrkov and become the first Hardcore Boxing League champion in the 101.6kg weight class.
As early as 30 seconds into the match, Erokhin managed to shake his opponent with a right jab, after which the fight turned into a one-sided beating, during which “The Ural Hulk” went down twice before referee Alexander Sidorin decided to stop the encounter.
After winning the championship belt, Konstantin Erokhin challenged Magomed Ismailov, who was in the audience, to a staredown battle with “The Bald Predator”, who entered the ring and tentatively agreed to fight.
