Belarusian heavyweight Piotr Romankevich will replace Viktor Nemkov and face Russian Ivan Shtyrkov on May 13 at the RCC 15 tournament in Yekaterinburg.

The fight according to the rules of kickboxing will take place in the format of three rounds of three minutes each and will take place in the weight category up to 100.5 kg. Representatives of the organization officially announced the replacement and the new format of the main event of the event.

Petr Romankevich, who is the world champion and two-time winner of the kickboxing World Cup, knocked out former Glory champion Saulo Cavalari in the last fight, and won one of the most high-profile victories in MMA last September, knocking out the 200-kilogram Brazilian Zuluzinho.

Two months ago, Ivan Shtyrkov made an unsuccessful debut in professional boxing, losing in six rounds to Magomed Ismailov by a majority of judges’ votes at the RCC Boxing tournament in Yekaterinburg. In mixed martial arts, the Ural Hulk is on a series of five victories, the last of which was won in December last year, at the RCC 13 tournament, winning by unanimous decision against Asylzhan Bakhytzhanuly.
