Middleweight title contenders, Israel Adesanya and Sean Strickland, have shared their thoughts on their upcoming fight, which will headline another Australian event of the world’s strongest league in 24 hours.
Israel Adesanya:
“The fight will end the way I need it to end. This is my legacy, and my team’s legacy. I literally have goosebumps because I know what this means to me and to all of us. I have great countries and great cultures behind me, but let’s end the talk. Tomorrow you will see everything.”
Sean Strickland:
“Guys, I get a lot of support, but not because you guys like me, but because Izzy sucks. When I’m representing your country for the most part, it’s easy to support me. Tomorrow I’m going to wage a real war for you, I’ll give up some brain cells for you. Thank you for your love!”
The middleweight title fight will headline UFC 293, which takes place Sept. 9 in Sydney.
