In Perth, Australia, the official weigh-in ceremony for the participants of the UFC 284 tournament took place, the main event of which will be the title super lightweight fight between Islam Makhachev and Alexander Volkanovski.
The headliners of the event successfully coped with the procedure – the Australian showed 154.5 pounds (70 kg), and the Russian with the help of a screen kept within exactly 155 pounds (70.3 kg).
The second most important event participants, Yair Rodriguez and Josh Emmett, who will play for the interim UFC featherweight championship, also had no problems getting into the limit of their weight category, recording 145 pounds (65.8 kg) each.
