Manchester Arena, Manchester, UK. World champion in the low-prestigious version of the IBO in the weight of Shakur Stevenson (that is, in the second featherweight (up to 59 kg)) Italian Michael Magnesi (21-1, 13 KOs) lost the title to the British left-hander-middle peasant Anthony Kakache (20-1, 7 KOs).

The champion slugger took the center of the ring, acted with an aggressive first number. In the opening round, the long Kakacha (how does he do 59 kg?) mainly wound circles around the perimeter of the ring, but then he began to work confidently at an average distance – uppercuts were solid.

Magnesi tried to turn the fight into a power confrontation, slashing his opponent near the left eye. And Kakache extinguished the champion’s attempts in the clinch, or he relied on his feet, confusing him with a frequent change of racks.

The challenger shocked the champion in the last seconds of the 8th round. He worked much more efficiently than Magnesi. The champion, on the other hand, relied on the workrate – he simply tried to rework the opponent.

The fight went all the way. The score of the judges: 116-112 Kakache, 116-112 Magnesi and 117-111 Kakache.

Kakache SD 12.

British and Commonwealth Welterweight Champion (up to 66.7 kg) Ekou Essuman (18-0, 7 KOs) defended titles against his compatriot
Samuel Antwi (14-2, 6 KOs).

The challenger had a great start to the fight, he recorded the starting rounds to his credit. Approximately by the 4th three-minute period, Essuman adapted to the opponent and seized the initiative. The favorite slightly took his foot off the gas pedal in the final rounds, but still brought the fight to a decision victory (115-114, 117-112 and 116-113).

Essuman UD 12.

As part of the second average weight (up to 76.2 kg), the Briton Mark Heffron (29-2-1, 23 KO) warmed up on journiman from Argentina
Martine Ezequile Bulacio (10-7, 7 KOs).

The fight ended in the opening round. You can only note the work of the referee – he intervened in time, saved the underdog from trouble.

DONE IN ONE! @Markheffron91 makes quick work of Martin Bulacio!
