Former world heavyweight champion British Anthony Joshua (24-3, 22 KOs) accepted all the conditions put forward by compatriot, current WBC title holder Tyson Fury (32-0-1, 23 KOs) and agreed to fight on December 3.
Joshua 258 Management made this statement:
“258 and Matchroom Boxing can confirm on behalf of Anthony Joshua that last Friday we accepted all the terms that Team Fury offered us for the December 3rd fight. In connection with the death of the queen, it was decided to stop all communication. We’re waiting for answer”.
We are also waiting.
Note that before that, Joshua insisted on holding the fight on December 17th.
At the end of last week, experts commented on whether Joshua should accept Fury’s challenge.
