Ikram Aliskerov responded to the UFC President about the fight with Paulo Costa

Russian middleweight Ikram Aliskerov has reached out to UFC President Dana White, who recently shared his expectations for his fight against Brazilian Paulo Costa.

“I guarantee you, Paulo Costa is fighting a tough guy and it’s going to be a damn good fight,” the head of the world’s top league said in a recent interview.

“On July 29, the rating of the middle division will change,” Aliskerov wrote on the social network, quoting the head of the organization.

Recall that the middleweight fight between Iskram Aliskerov and Paulo Costa will be part of the UFC 291 tournament, which will be held July 29 in Salt Lake City.

Three weeks ago, 30-year-old Ikram Aliskerov made a successful debut in the UFC, knocking out American Phil Howes in the first round and chalking up his fourteenth professional victory.

At the moment, Paulo Costa is ranked fifth in the UFC middleweight rankings, and the Russian is not yet in the top 15 best fighters in the division.
