Former title holder in two weight categories, and now an American boxing expert on ESPN Timothy Bradley gave
interview after another Top Rank Promotions show.

In a conversation, the analyst spoke about the fighters of the light weight category (up to 61.2 kg) – the absolute champion American Devin Haney (28-0, 15 KOs), the Ukrainian ex-owner of three titles Vasily Lomachenko (16-2, 10 KOs) and the former champion in three categories, and now the owner of the WBA World title, American Gervonte “Tank” Davis (27-0, 25 KOs).

What are your top 3 lightweights?

“I would say Haney is one of them. Scrap? Scrap… Tank – first or second, given that Tank is a champion in three categories. The tank is dangerous. I still want to see him fight the top tier, but he goes where he goes. He sells fights well and doesn’t look for opportunities to meet everyone. Every time he fights, he puts on a spectacular show. For him and for those who manage him, this is more business. Everything depends on them. I don’t agree with that, but that’s his business. I think the top talent is these fighters.

Haney does not rule out that there will be no rematch with Kambosos. Lomachenko ready?

– If Kambosos does not fight Haney, what can you say about the Lomachenko-Haney fight?

“This is a great fight. Loma has been out of boxing for a while, but I’ll tell you this – type of fighters like Lomachenko, they stay in shape all year round. You can’t rely on Loma being weak. I believe now is the right time for Lomachenko to come out of this long downtime. If Haney beats him, it will be right now, because he does not want Lomachenko to have an interim fight at all. He doesn’t want him to acclimatise. This is the perfect time. Great fight. I think Haney can beat him. Haney controls the distance. I think there are some things that need to be worked on, but the better the opponent, the better Haney you will see.
