Boxing legend from the United States, the only undisputed heavyweight and heavyweight champion in history, Evander Holyfield has finally cast aside cautious and streamlined formulations, naming the winner of the upcoming rematch Oleksandr Usyk (19-0, 13 KOs) and Anthony Joshua (24-2, 22 KOs).
Holyfield has previously spoken out more than once about the fight, talking about the strengths of the boxers and the keys to victory for each of them.
Now Evander, who will be personally present at the fight in Saudi Arabia, clearly named his favorite.
“I feel in my gut that if each of them fights in his own and familiar manner, then Usyk will win,” Evander said. “I think Joshua needs to change, and seriously. But the thing is, I think he likes to be himself. And being himself, he will not “bull” (i.e., aggressively put pressure on Usyk in the ring, approx. vRINGe)”.
