Russian featherweight Hussein Askhabov will fight his next fight on July 1 at UFC on ESPN 47 in Las Vegas against Brazil’s Joanderson Brito.
The organization of the fight was reported by informed sources close to the situation.
Hussein Askhabov, 28, made an unsuccessful debut under the UFC banner in February of this year, losing by unanimous decision to Jamal Emmers. Before that, the Russian did not know defeat and went on an impressive streak of 23 professional victories.
The 28-year-old Joanderson Brito has fought three fights in the UFC, losing by unanimous decision to Bill Algio on his debut and then finishing with a TKO of Andre Fili and a rear naked choke against Lucas Alexander.
Recall that the main event of the UFC on ESPN 47 tournament will be a middleweight fight between Sean Strickland and Abusupian Magomedov.
