The most popular lightweights/super lightweights of the world, American punchers Gervonta “Tank” Davis (27-0, 25 KOs) and Ryan “King” Garcia (23-0, 19 KOs) decided to move from words to deeds – they announced a face-to-face fight, which will take place next year. Interestingly, both will first have one to the best of the intermediate battle.
Davis does not hide the fact that he has solid financial
expectations from this fight: “I think this is very good for our sport. Definitely good. After all, we are both young and at the peak of our careers. He is hungry, I am hungry. You know yourself that young peak fighters don’t fight each other these days. I feel that we will push this process forward. This will be the beginning. Immediately after that, all the top lightweights will begin to determine the strongest in head-to-head fights.

The other day, the media named the next rival Ryan Garcia. For now, it’s unofficial. And Gervonta Davis claims to have received a $10 million offer from Hearn. He didn’t accept it.
