Henry Sehudo’s statement about the firing of his head coach, Eric Albarracin, is nothing more than a hoax.
The American fighter and the Brazilian specialist said this in a joint video posted on social media.
“We got them! We started this together, and we’re gonna finish it together!”, “Triple Champion” wrote in the commentary.
Sehudo did not reveal who exactly he was trying to catch, but fans have already speculated that the American was forced to present the whole thing as a joke after a barrage of criticism, including from his colleagues, descended on him.
“To do that in front of the cameras is all very strange,” commented current UFC featherweight champion, Aleksander Volkanovski. “Henry, if this is true, you’re a piece of de**k. That’s kind of crazy to me.”
As a reminder, Henry Cejudo will return to the octagon this weekend at UFC 298 in Anaheim, and facing the former UFC double champion will be No. 2 ranked lightweight Merab Dvalishvili.
