Henry Cejudo returns to UFC rankings

Three years later, former double UFC champion, Henry Cejudo, returned to the ranking of the strongest league in the world, taking third place in the organization’s bantamweight division.

The return of the “Triple Champion” to the top three affected the position of all fighters below, including the Russians Petr Yan and Umar Nurmagomedov, who moved to the fifth and twelfth positions, respectively.

Above the American are his compatriot Sean O’Malley and Merab Dvalishvili, representing Georgia.

Recall that the title fight between Sterling and Cejudo, who headlined the UFC 288 tournament in Newark last weekend, went the whole distance and ended with the victory of the current champion by a split decision.

A day after the fight, Henry Cejudo announced that he wanted to see Merab Dvalishvili as his next opponent, and the Georgian fighter, who occupies the first line in the division, announced his readiness to share the octagon with him.
