Former dual UFC champion and UFC bantamweight title contender Henry Cejudo sees Russian Umar Nurmagomedov as the main threat to the division, to which the American is returning after a three-year hiatus.
“Umar is the most dangerous guy in the bantamweight division right now,” the Triple Champion said. “From what I’ve seen, he’s the hardest challenge for anyone, including me. He can wrestle, stand up, box – he’s a very versatile fighter. He saw his brother and his cousin win championships and he wants to be next.”
Recall that on May 6 at UFC 288 in Newark, Henry Cejudo will challenge the reigning UFC bantamweight champion, Aljamain Sterling, and Umar Nurmagomedov, who knows no defeats, expects to meet Merab Dvalishvili, who occupies the first line in the division, in the next fight.
