British heavyweight veteran Derek Chisora (33-12, 23 KOs) allegedly turned down the opportunity to have a trilogy with WBC world champion Tyson Fury (32-0-1, 23 KOs). This was stated
Boxing Social promoter Eddie Hearn.
These guys fought in 2011 and 2014: Fury won both.
“Derek had an offer from Camp Fury, [но ему] there wasn’t enough money. I’m not sure we’ll see this fight,” said the head of Matchroom Boxing. Previously, he refused to give Saunders the amount he requested for a comeback.
As recently as August 2, we reported that negotiations had begun on the fight Fury – Chisora 3. And Derek himself was so active, fear: he accepted Fury’s challenge, he said, “tell me where and when.”
