Hearn has three candidates to fight Joshua. But he seems to have already made up his mind.

Once beaten, and even then controversially, American Jermaine Franklin (21-1, 14 KOs) will become the next opponent of former world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua (24-3, 22 KOs) in his comeback fight. 29-year-old Franklin controversially lost his last fight to Dillian Whyte in late autumn 2022, and the British comeback is scheduled for April 1 at O2 Arena in London (England).

“Yes, I think there’s a very good chance it could be Franklin,” Hearn said.
iFL TV. Jermain gave White a hell of a fight. And I think it’s very dangerous to go back to fight him. There are, of course, haters: “Haha, what the hell, he lost to Dillian.” Wait a minute! You said a couple of months ago that he beat Dillian by four rounds. And now it’s like that, isn’t it?”
