WBC world lightweight champion (up to 61.2 kg) American Devin Haney (27-0, 15 KOs) hopes for fair refereeing in the upcoming fight against Australian George Kambosos (20-0, 10 KOs), which is scheduled for 5 June in Melbourne (Australia).

According to Devin, this is his main requirement and desire on the eve of the fight with the holder of the WBC Franchise, WBA Super, IBF and WBO titles.

“This is how I look at this situation. (Judges) Robbery happens in the US too. Lots of robberies. How much? Too many to count. Robbery happens all over the world, no matter where the fight takes place,” said Devin.

“My team and I are doing everything we can to make sure there are fair judging, neutral judges,” Haney says. – Or, if not neutral judges, then one judge was from the United States, and the other represented Australia. We’re going to level the playing field. It was all I required. I just want fair refereeing and nothing more.”

Devin Haney: “I will beat Kambosos 10 times out of 10. In Australia”
