President of AMF Fight Nights Kamil Gadzhiev commented on the harsh words of Alexander Emelianenko against middleweight Artur Huseynov. Earlier, the heavyweight criticized Huseynov, calling the middleweight a Dagestan pig.
“This is a one-way ticket,” Gadzhiev said in an interview with Alexander Lyutikov. “After that, there can be no compromises. They will either sort it out on the street or in a cage. Although, by and large, I do not call on the street to decide. First of all, it would be interesting for me as a viewer to look at it in a cage, because we will not see a street showdown.
“I don’t know why Sasha is not at all shy in terms of expressions regarding Arthur,” Gadzhiev continued. “Maybe that’s how they treat him, maybe that’s their backstory. It is one thing, professional claims, another – the extremes in which they fell. Showdowns are inevitable, and I hope they will sort it out in a cage.”
On November 27, at the AMC Fight Nights 106 tournament in Syktyvkar, Alexander Emelianenko was defeated by Brazilian Marcio Santos by choke in the first round. Immediately after the fight, Huseynov called Emelianenko’s performance a disgrace and shame.
