A lightweight bout between Grant Dawson and Bobby Green will headline UFC Fight Night 229, which takes place Oct. 7 in Las Vegas.

Grant Dawson, 29, has fought nine fights in the UFC, earning eight wins and one fight draw. The American is currently riding a three-fight win streak, most recently winning a unanimous decision over Damir Ismagulov.
Bobby Green, 36, put his career back on track in July by finishing Tony Ferguson with an arm-triangle choke in the third round. Prior to that, the American had lost two fights in a row, losing by knockouts to Islam Makhachev and Drew Dober, and his bout against Jared Gordon was declared a no contest due to a head clash in the first round.
Grant Dawson is ranked tenth in the UFC lightweight rankings, and Bobby Green is not a top-15 fighter in the division.
