The 34-year-old Ukrainian lightweight Denys Berinchyk (17-0, 9 KOs), who holds the EBU and WBO International European titles, has signed a cooperation contract with Frank Warren’s British promotional company Queensberry Promotions.

Recall that on December 3 in London (England) Berinchyk took part in a boxing show from QP, having won the EBU title thanks to a points victory over French veteran Ivan Mendy.

“Berinchik must become a world champion! – Alexander Krasyuk, CEO of K2 Promotions Ukraine and Denis’s promoter, is sure. – He’s ready for it. Unfortunately, due to the war, we are unable to do shows in Ukraine, so K2 Promotions is joining forces with Qeensberry Promotions and will work to ensure that Denis gets this chance next year. I am confident that our cooperation will be fruitful.”

“I am happy with the victory of Denis Berinchyk over Mendy,” says Warren. “He was out of the ring for a year and it’s hard to imagine what he went through considering the invasion of his country. Despite some difficulties with preparation, the Ukrainian demonstrated his skills, and I am glad that we will cooperate with him in order to take him to the fight for the world title next year.”

Let’s add that Berinchyk currently ranks 4th in the WBO rankings and 12th in the IBF.
