Former junior middleweight world champion, undefeated Mexican middleweight Jaime Munguia (39-0, 31 KOs) would like to get even with Kazakhstani Gennady Golovkin (42-1-1, 37 KOs) if he wins the trilogy against Canelo Alvarez in September (57-2-2, 39 KOs), however, does not believe in GGG’s current abilities.

At the same time, this does not affect Munguia’s desire to somehow end up with Gennady in the same ring.

“You know, I would love to fight Golovkin to avenge the defeat of a compatriot, but I don’t believe that he will beat Canelo,” Jaime admitted. “So if we do meet, it won’t be revenge for Mexico. Canelo has a lot of experience at super middleweight and I don’t believe Gennady can handle him now at 76.2kg.”

“What I believe in is that after losing to Canelo, Gennady will return to middleweight,” Munguia continues to look to tomorrow. – He has two titles in this weight, and I always wanted to fight him. I see this as a great opportunity for myself. It could be a great fight on DAZN if we can get it all organized.”

Meanwhile, Dmitry Bivol’s coach Gennady Mashyanov gave a prediction for the Canelo-Golovkin trilogy
