Former world super middleweight champion, now playing in the light heavyweight category (up to 79.4 kg), Mexican Gilberto Ramirez (44-0, 30 KOs) is going to conquer, no more, no less, five divisions. That is, to win titles not only in the current weight, but also in heavyweight (up to 90.7 kg), and in the so-called bridgerweight (up to 101.6 kg), and even in heavyweight.

He stated this while talking to
boxing scenealong the way, showering compliments on the promotional company Golden Boy Promotions, for which he is currently playing.

“It’s nice to be with Golden Boy, I feel like part of the family with them,” says Gilberto. “I told them I want to go 51-0, beating Floyd Mayweather, and win as many titles as I can. My goal is to become the world champion in five categories for Golden Boy. I’ll even win the bridgeweight title for them.”

“I want champions, my goal has always been to get big fights. And I’m sure they’re just around the corner,” Ramirez continues. “Now all the champions are busy, but I am sure that these big fights will take place this year.”

Recall that the Mexican is a mandatory contender for the WBA Super title holder Russian Dmitry Bivol.
