American lightweight “Tank” Gervonta Davis (28-0, 26 KOs) does not agree with the opinion that his last fight against the Dominican Hector Luis Garcia (16-1, 10 KOs) was more or less equal or at least close at that time, when Gervonta’s vaunted punching power brought him yet another success.

Recall that on the night of January 7-8, in the main event of a boxing evening in Washington (USA), Davis seriously shocked and injured his opponent in the eighth round, because of which he was unable to continue the meeting.

Report from vRINGe: Davis – Garcia. We don’t even know…

“Ta no, I don’t think the fight was close,” Gervonta denies. “Still, I hit him with cleaner punches. I mean, most of his success came down to jabs. As for me, this is not enough, it is not a guarantee of superiority.

Earlier, Davis explained why he “slowed down” at the beginning of the fight with Garcia, and the Dominican himself named the reason for stopping the fight with Gervonta.
