Australian lightweight (up to 61.2 kg) George Kambosos (20-0, 10 KOs) is not averse to having a rematch with American Teofimo Lopez (16-1, 12 KOs) at some stage, whom he sensationally beat in October last year in a duel for WBC Franchise, WBA Super, IBF and WBO titles.
Recall that after that Lopez moved to the next category up to 63.5 kg. But Kambosos assured that this is not a problem.
“Do you want to fight again? No problem, let’s go. But now welcome to my house,” said George. I am always happy to do great things. We will see. We can do it at 63.5 kg, no problem. Yes, even in middleweight, I don’t care. Weight is not a problem for me at all, we can do it at any (weight).”
Recall that on June 5 in Melbourne (Australia), Kambosos is scheduled to unify with the WBC world champion from the United States Devin Haney.
Meanwhile, Haney ridiculed Kambosos: “On paws, anyone will look cool.”
