Well-known boxing coaches Joel Diaz and Ronnie Shields, in an interview with an American reporter, spoke about the upcoming rematch between the unified IBF / WBO / WBA heavyweight champion (over 90.7 kg) from Ukraine Oleksandr Usyk (19-0, 13 KOs) and former British champion Anthony Joshua (24-2, 22 KOs).

In a conversation, both coaches agreed that the Briton needed only strong and aggressive boxing to defeat Usyk.

Recall that the rematch between Usyk and Joshua will be held on August 20 in Jeddah (Saudi Arabia), and Alexander bought the rights to broadcast the fight in Ukraine.

– Joshua rematch – Usyk, what do you think of him?

– Joshua – Usyk? Let me say. When I saw him fight… Joshua has the power, but mentally he’s not there anymore. After the fight with Ruiz, he is no longer the same Joshua. He must destroy, he can. But perhaps he no longer has the fortitude. He needs to be mentally strong, to believe in his power, to go out and beat Usyk. Because if he gives Usyk a few rounds to box, he won’t beat him.

— Ronnie, Joshua came to see you. What can you say about his rematch with Usyk?

– This is a good fight.

Who do you see as the winner?

It depends on Joshua. It depends on how he fights. If he fights the way he fought last time, he won’t win.

— [добавляет Диас] This is exactly what I was talking about. He needs to collect his balls and get the fuck out! He can’t suffer x***** in the ring and expect to win over Usyk. He’s got strength, he’s a big guy. Bring it to Usyk! Because if he goes out and tries to play games, he will lose!

Meanwhile, sparring Joshua told how cool the Ukrainian is.
