23-year-old Californian Ryan Garcia (23-0, 19 KOs) said he plans to take an “old-fashioned approach” and terribly knead Baltimorean Gervont Davis (27-0, 25 KOs) when they meet in a megafight.

Recall that the other day Garcia in the sixth round scored Javier Fortuna. “Well, as much as possible,” the editors shake their heads.

“I intend to fight him old school if I have to,” Ryan said on air.
BBC 5 Live Boxing. – I’ll go straight for him, they will torment and “bite” him every time there is an opportunity. I challenge him to a fight! I am very clear about my intentions. There must be a way to lure him into the ring. Perhaps we should put him in a position where the fans will leave him no choice but to fight me.”

Prospect is going to “beat Davis really hard” and “make it even easier than with Fortuna”.

Garcia reveals reason for conflict with Davis

“I will torment Gervonta to such an extent that it will seem that he does not even belong in the same ring with me. The fight will not look competitive. I promise it. I’ll make it look empty. It won’t be easy, but I will do it,” Garcia promised.

Read the prediction for such a fight from one of boxing’s greatest legends: “Davis knocks out Garcia.”

Whether there will be such a fight is unknown. Davis is under contract with Premier Boxing Champions and fights on Showtime and Fox, while Garcia fights for Golden Boy Promotions on DAZN.

On July 21, De La Hoya and Garcia were approached at Gervonta’s. Ryan was answered and almost buried the fight with Davis.
