Interim WBO heavyweight champion Briton Joe Joyce (15-0, 14 KOs) does not agree with those fans and experts who consider his compatriot Tyson Fury (33-0-1, 24 KOs) to be a clear favorite in a fight with Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk ( 20-0, 13 KOs).

Joyce
offers fans to once again review Usyk’s rematch with Briton Anthony Joshua: “Pay attention to how Alexander spent that fight. From the starting gong, he began to throw a lot of blows. And at the same time, he did not stagnate, constantly moved, but kept the opponent at a convenient distance, that is, close. Yes, Fury has a longer reach, he is taller and he has a solid jab. But how to resist Usyk’s efficiency? I think Fury will have to clinch a lot more often and use all this “big guy” arsenal.

Joyce also recalled that “Usyk has a crazy record. He has about 350 amateur fights and very few defeats. The same is true for professionals. He was an absolute in cruiserweight, and in heavyweight he doesn’t fight with some no-names. So he’s really good. What am I leading to? Plus it’s a much more competitive fight. In vain, fans believe that Fury will wipe the canvas of the ring with Usyk.

But first, Usyk and Fury need to agree on a duel. And they have very little time – the fight is tentatively scheduled for the end of April in Britain. Rumor has it that in Saudi Arabia they refused this fight because of Joshua. Promoter Anthony reminded that every event has its price.
