WBC world heavyweight champion Tyson Fury (32-0-1, 23 KOs) was not in the updated ranking of the best boxers in this category according to the legendary magazine
The Ring. The reason is that Fury vacated the belt in the summer according to the magazine, saying that he had retired.

Although Fury now claims to be “back”, The Ring is in no hurry to bring him back into the rankings. Tyson is such a person that in the morning he will declare that he has left boxing again, and by lunchtime he has changed his mind, and so he will return. And then hang up the gloves again by evening.

The weight leader is Alexander Usik (20-0, 13 KOs) from Ukraine – he is considered the “champion” according to the publication.

On the first line of the rating is the Briton Anthony Joshua (24-3, 22 KOs), twice beaten by the Ukrainian, a two-time WBA, IBF and WBO champion in the past.

In second place is the former WBC American champion Deontay Wilder (42-2-1, 41 KOs), who lost twice to Fury, both times ahead of schedule.
