British promoter Eddie Hearn suggested that WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury (32-0-1, 23 KOs) would still agree to enter the ring and fight Oleksandr Usyk (20-0, 13 KOs), who owns the rest of the prestigious belts of the division, because the financial benefits of such a fight, in which the undisputed heavyweight champion is determined, are too great.

In such a fight, Hearn bets Alexander to win.

“In this fight, I would prefer Oleksandr Usyk,” Hearn told DAZN. “I just think he’s too good. So they are both very smart fighters. And while it’s not the coolest fight to watch, it’s still very intriguing on its own. Tyson Fury doesn’t want to fight Usyk, but he might still have to do it because there’s a lot of money at stake.”

Recall that last weekend, Usyk beat Hearn’s ward, Anthony Joshua, for the second time.

Meanwhile, Fury put forward a new condition for the fight with Alexander.
