Francis Ngannou's rivals' real fee announced in the PFL

Former UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou doubled the amount by revealing his PFL rivals’ guaranteed purse.

This was announced in an interview with Spinnin Backfist by the founder of the PFL, Donn Davis, who mentioned the financial side of the agreement concluded with the Cameroonian.

“Francis was offered more money elsewhere, but our deal was more than money,” Davis stated. “Management in PFL Africa, a guaranteed fee for the opponent, at least one million dollars … The money that we offered him is the same money that he was offered in the UFC”

A week earlier, the Predator, in an interview with Ariel Helwani, stated that the minimum base fee of his rival in the PFL league would be two million dollars, which was allegedly written into his contract.

“Maybe it will be more, it depends on the additional terms of their personal contracts, but two million is the minimum amount that we guarantee,” Ngannou said. “As for my base fee, it will be a little more, let’s put it this way”

According to UFC President Dana White, Francis Ngannou, who left the organization earlier this year, turned down the biggest contract in UFC heavyweight history.
