Francis Ngannou’s opponent in MMA has been determined

Reigning PFL heavyweight champion, Henan Ferreira, scored an early victory over current Bellator titleholder, Ryan Bader, and earned the right to fight the league’s top star, Francis Ngannou.

The heavyweight bout, which headlined the Bellator and PFL co-main event in Riyadh, ended in the 21st second with the Brazilian winning by knocking the American down with a right jab and then finishing him in the clinch.

In a post-fight interview, Henan Ferreira, nicknamed “The Problem”, offered Francis Ngannou to enter the cage for a battle of glances, but “The Predator” defiantly left the arena without responding to his future opponent’s challenge.

The winner of the Super Fight of Champions will be the next opponent for the Cameroonian heavyweight in mixed martial arts was officially announced two days earlier by the PFL league.

Recall that at the moment Francis Ngannou is completing preparations for a boxing match against former world champion Anthony Joshua, which will take place on March 8 in Riyadh. In case of victory in this fight, the former UFC champion will become the main candidate for a fight with the absolute world champion in heavyweight boxing, which will be determined in the fight between Tyson Fury and Alexander Usik.
