Francis Ngannou's minimum fee for Tyson Fury fight announced

Former UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou will receive at least $10 million to fight Tyson Fury.

This was announced by the popular boxing blogger Jake Paul, who is close to the Cameroonian team.

“Francis will receive an eight-figure fee, not eight million dollars, as some sources say – formulate it correctly,” the American wrote on the social network.

This information was confirmed by the well-known sports columnist Ariel Helwani.

“That’s right, based on what I was told,” a Canadian reporter wrote, quoting Paul. “I don’t know where the amount of eight million came from, but it’s not true”

Accordingly, the minimum eight-figure fee is $10,000,000 and the maximum is $99,999,999. In particular, a day earlier, former UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov suggested that the Predator could earn $50-60 million for the fight with the Gypsy King.

This week it was officially announced that the boxing match between Tyson Fury and Francis Ngannou will take place on October 28 in the capital of Saudi Arabia, Riyadh. At the same time, representatives of the World Boxing Council explained that the fight will receive professional status, although the WBC heavyweight championship belt, owned by the British, will not be at stake.
