Francis Ngannou reacted to the fight between Tyson Fury and Alexander Usik

Former UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou, who is preparing for a boxing match against Tyson Fury, commented on the news that the British heavyweight is set to step up for a world title fight against Ukraine’s Oleksandr Usik eight weeks after his fight with him.

“I’ve been underestimated and doubted before. We’ll see,” “The Predator” wrote on social media shortly after the heavyweight unification bout was officially announced.

Earlier, the organization of the fight between Fury and Usik was reported by ESPN reporter Mike Coppinger, after which this information was officially confirmed by the participants of the heavyweight unification match.

At stake in the fight will be the WBC championship belt owned by Tyson Fury, as well as the WBA, IBF, WBO and IBO titles held by Alexander Usik. The fight will take place in Saudi Arabia on December 23, or in January next year.

Although Fury is not risking his title in the fight against Ngannou, scheduled for October 28, a surprise win for the Cameroonian could put the championship match between two of the strongest heavyweights of our time in question.
