Francis Ngannou has no plans to fight Alexander Usik

In the event of a win over Anthony Joshua, former UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou plans to face Tyson Fury regardless of whether the Brit beats Oleksandr Usik or loses to the Ukrainian.

“I don’t want a fight with the winner of the Fury-Usik fight – I want Tyson Fury,” The Predator told TMZ. “Tyson owes me a fight. I don’t care who the winner is. I’m going after Tyson. Whether he loses or wins, I’m going to fight him.”

As for his upcoming boxing match against the Brit, the Cameroonian is aware that this time he won’t have to count on the surprise factor that played into his hands in his fight against “The Gypsy King”, whom he lost to in a controversial split decision last October.

“Anthony Joshua has already seen me fight, so he knows a little bit of what to expect. Unlike Tyson Fury, who didn’t know what to expect, Joshua is aware of what I’m capable of, so I’ll have to work harder to win.”

Keep in mind that the fight for the title of absolute heavyweight boxing champion of the world between Tyson Fury and Alexander Usik will take place on February 17 in the Saudi capital Riyadh, while Francis Ngannou and Anthony Joshua will fight in the same arena on March 9.
