Francis Ngannou gives advice to John Jones, the American replies

Former UFC heavyweight champion, Francis Ngannou, and current titleholder, Jon Jones, who spoke at the Bellator and PFL co-main event in Riyadh, exchanged jokes about each other.

In particular, the Cameroonian heavyweight published a video in the social network, where he, assessing the physical form of the American, advises him to return to training as soon as possible.

“You need to get back to training,” “The Predator” tells Jones with a laugh.

The UFC champ responded with a joint photo with Ngannou and the legendary Mike Tyson.

“An iconic photo of Francis asking to borrow twenty dollars,” Jones wrote in a comment.

While attending the event last weekend, Jon Jones gave a short interview between fights in which he assessed the likelihood of a fight with Francis Ngannou.

“There are a lot of fights that the world wants to see,” the American fighter stated. “I don’t know how the card will lay out, but my prediction is that I’ll beat Stipe Miocic and then I’ll beat Tom Aspinall and Francis Ngannou. How that gets organized is none of my business. My job is to do what I’ve been doing since day one.”

Jon Jones, who is recovering from two surgeries, is scheduled to make his title defense against Stipe Miocic this year, while Francis Ngannou will step into the ring against former world boxing champion Anthony Joshua on March 8.
