Francis Ngannou gave his prediction for the Jon Jones vs. Stipe Miocic fight

Former UFC heavyweight champion, Francis Ngannou, shared his opinion on the upcoming fight between Jon Jones and Stipe Miocic to headline UFC 295 on Nov. 11 in New York City.

“I’m betting on Stipe,” “The Predator” said in an interview with CBS Sports. “Stylistically, the favorite is Stipe. I’ve fought him twice, and I think he’s undeservedly underrated – he deserves more respect. Obviously, I beat him the second time, but I realize I could have lost. I know how good he is as a fighter. He’s fought Daniel Cormier three times and you saw for yourself how it was”

“Besides, it’s a different weight class for Jon Jones. It’s a heavyweight division and it’s different from the welterweight division. How good is Jon? He’s the best welterweight. But he’s going to have to face some challenges at heavyweight.”

In the upcoming fight Jon Jones will defend his UFC heavyweight championship belt, which he won in March of this year in a confrontation with Cyril Gagne. The title was previously left vacant by Francis Ngannou, who officially left the organization earlier this year.

Recall that this weekend the Cameroonian will make his professional boxing debut, and his opponent will be one of the best boxers of our time British Tyson Fury, who holds the WBC heavyweight title.
