Anthony Johnson is gone
At the age of 39, the heart of former UFC heavyweight title contender Anthony Johnson (23-6) stopped beating.
It is reported that recently the native of the US state of Georgia had serious health problems.
Johnson left the UFC in 2017 after a total of 19 fights with the promotion. In 2021, Anthony had one fight in Bellator, in which he defeated Jose Augusto Azevedo. It was the quarterfinals of the Bellator Light Heavyweight Grand Prix. The fighter was forced to refuse further performances for health reasons.
