Former UFC champion T.J. Dillashaw wowed fans with his physicality

Former UFC lightweight champion T.J. Dillashaw, who just over a year ago notified the organization of the end of his professional career, stunned his fans by showing them his current physical shape.

“Planting the seeds of hard work last year is poised to be a harvest of success this year. Patience pays off,” the American fighter wrote on social media, posting a training photo.

Fans did not ignore the former UFC champion’s impressive muscle mass, sharing their opinions in the comments to the publication.

“Breaux wants to fight Conor McGregor at middleweight.”

“Breaux has turned into Ryan Bader. Let’s go!”

“Dude stole Overeem’s horse meat.”

“With that much testosterone, the hair is gone for good.”

“Planting seeds? More like pills.”

“The McGregor Effect.”

“We all know what you do.”

“Did T.J. turn into Joe Rogan?”

“Thought it was Matt Hamill for a second.”

“A proper New Year’s Eve blowout.”

T.J. Dillashaw last fought in October 2022 at UFC 280 in Abu Dhabi, losing by TKO in the second round to then-reigning lightweight champion Aljamain Sterling. After the fight, Dillashaw said he entered the octagon with a shoulder injury that made itself felt in the fight, and after undergoing surgery, he announced the end of his career.

Meanwhile, Sterling, commenting on his opponent’s retirement, suggested that Dillashaw did so to get out of the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency testing pool and quietly recover from surgery with banned drugs.

Recall that in January 2019, TJ Dillashaw made an unsuccessful attempt to take the UFC flyweight title from Henry Cejudo, to whom he lost by technical knockout already in the first round, and then was disqualified for two years after submitting a positive test for doping.
