Ukrainian ex-world champion in three categories Vasily Lomachenko (16-2, 11 KOs) in an interview
ESNews spoke about possible fights against the undisputed lightweight champion Devin Haney (28-0, 15 KOs) and former featherweight and second featherweight champion Shakur Stevenson (19-0, 9 KOs), who recently announced a transition to 61.2 kg.

– There is a high probability of your fight against Haney. What do you think of this fight?

Now he is the undisputed world champion. He has four belts. These four belts are what I want, they are what I have been fighting for my whole career.

Do you get up early in the morning because of them?

– Yes. That’s why I want this fight. And it doesn’t matter who it will be: Haney, Kambosos or someone else. I don’t care.

Shakur Stevenson says he’s moving up to lightweight. Are you happy to meet him?

“Look, I don’t care. If he is the owner of four belts – no problem. I’m ready for it. For me, this is not a business, for me this is a historic moment for my history, for the history of my life, for my family. I said earlier that we may lose business and money tomorrow, but we will never lose our heritage, our historical moment. This will forever remain in history. That’s why I run towards my goal.

“And you have been training so hard all these years.

– Yes. I already had a chance in my life, but I did not use it. But now I’m close to that goal again. If I deserve it, I need this chance. But if not, no problem, life goes on.

Recall that on October 29, Lomachenko returns to the ring in a duel against American Jemaine Ortiz (16-0-1, 8 KOs).
