Floyd Mayweather will fight with the grandson of the legendary gangster

Professional boxing legend Floyd Mayweather, who continues to earn millions of dollars in exhibition matches, has chosen a big-name opponent for his next entry into the ring.

On June 11 at the FLA Live arena in Sunrise, Florida, 46-year-old Mayweather will fight 30-year-old John Gotti III, who is the grandson of the famous mafia John Gotti, who died in prison in 2002.

Floyd Mayweather has remained active since retiring from professional sports after defeating Conor McGregor in August 2017. During this time, Mayweather had several exhibition fights, including with bloggers Logan Paul and Deji, kickboxing champion Tenshin Nasukawa, and RIZIN fighter Mikuru Asakura. In the last fight, which took place in February of this year, Mayweather dominated ex-Bellator fighter and reality TV star Aaron Chalmers in eight rounds.

John Gotti is the third to have a 5-1 record in MMA and also has two victories as a professional boxer. Note that the boxing evening, which will lead the fight between Mayweather and Gotti, will be held under the sign “Last names matter”.
