Floyd Mayweather offered to help Francis Ngannou

Former five-weight boxing world champion Floyd Mayweather is set to sign a promotional deal with Francis Ngannou to pursue a career as a former UFC champion in professional boxing.

“I’d love to work with Francis Ngannou – I’d love to sign him to Mayweather Promotions,” the American legend told Bet Online. “He is incredible, has top notch skills and if he wants to fight one of the best guys in the heavyweight division, he has to do it.”

Mayweather is confident that the Predator has what it takes to compete with the best boxers in the world.

“Undoubtedly. With his size, strength and power, anything is possible. He’s very cool and can make a splash in the heavyweight division.”

In January of this year, the Cameroonian officially left the strongest league in the world, vacating the UFC heavyweight championship belt. Ngannou’s next fight is going to be in professional boxing, and then plans to return to mixed martial arts under the PFL or ONE Championship banner.
