On September 25 in Japan, boxing legend Floyd Mayweather Jr. will hold an exhibition match against local MMA fighter Mikuru Asakura.

This is not the last performance of “Money” in 2022 – a trip to Dubai is planned for November for another unofficial duel against a vlogger.

Ahead of Sunday’s performance, Floyd said he already has plans for 2023 as well.

“I want to have a lot of fun this weekend,” Mayweather anticipates. “Then I will have another exhibition fight in November in Dubai, and I will also fight Conor McGregor in 2023.”

“We don’t know yet whether it will be an exhibition or a real fight (with McGregor). But negotiations are underway, and I would prefer the exhibition, ”said Floyd.

Recall that it was against McGregor that the American had the last “official” fight at the moment, in August 2017, stopping the MMA star from Ireland in the 10th round.

In May of this year, Mayweather already boxed in Dubai, it was an exhibition fight against Don Moore.
