British coach Mark Tibbs, who previously worked with Billy Joe Saunders and Dillian Whyte, believes that fellow heavyweight Tyson Fury (33-0-1, 24 KOs) will inflict a debut defeat on Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk (20-0, 13 KOs) and become the first in the history of heavyweight as an absolute in the era of four belts. The fight is expected to take place in the first half of next year.

Tibbs
thinks Fury’s favorite “because of his advantage in anthropometry. Unlike Usyk, he is a born heavyweight. And it’s not just that it’s his natural weight. He is very technical and well versed in all aspects. He is like a huge and uncomfortable giant who knows perfectly well how to cope with those who are standing opposite. That’s the reason why I’m betting on Fury.”

But this in no way means that Tibbs underestimates the Ukrainian: “Oh, what a wonderful fighter this Usyk is. This is not a fighter at all, but a real wizard. But I think Fury is just too big for his magic.”

The other day, coach Fury surprised the fans a little with a strange statement: “What if Usyk saw something that would help him beat Tyson?” But the Olympic medalist is sure that Fury will defeat Usyk in an ugly fight.
