Fight Nights plans to continue cooperation with Vasilevsky

The AMC Fight Nights promotion plans to continue working with Vyacheslav Vasilevsky, despite the fact that he pulled out of the fight with Marcio Santos, perhaps without a good reason.

The fight between Vasilevsky and Santos was supposed to take place on November 27 at the AMC Fight Nights 106 tournament in Syktyvkar. However, the Russian fighter withdrew from the fight due to illness. According to Gadzhiev, Vasilevsky “fell ill with inflammation of cunning.” Instead of Vasilevsky, the fight with Santos will be held by Alexander Emelianenko.

“If you were sick, then you should have prepared us for this,” explained Kamil Gadzhiev, president of AMC Fight Nights, in an interview with SE. – He did not come to the interview, and from there we learned that he was ill. At the same time, he published a video yesterday … Of course, we do not follow him with a thermometer. But you report that you are sick, and at the same time you post a video on a social network where you are sitting healthy, like a cucumber, blogging and so on. It doesn’t go anywhere at all. Hence my assumption that Slava is less ill than it might seem.

– Will you continue to cooperate with Vasilevsky?

– Certainly. He has two fights under the contract, as far as I remember. Let him fight, let him fulfill the contract. What problems? I don’t take it personally at all.
