On November 5, Minneapolis (USA) will host a boxing evening, in which a native of Ukrainian Kharkov, 26-year-old middleweight prospect (up to 72.6 kg) Fedor Cherkashin (20-0, 13 KOs) will fight against 34-year-old Jamaican Nathaniel Gallimore (22-5-1, 17 KOs).

Today, the boxing show, the main event of which will be the fight between WBA World 2nd middleweight champion Cuban David Morrel and Kazakhstani Aidos Yerbosynuly, was officially announced.

Cherkashin, who has recently played under the Polish flag, had one fight in 2022, stopping Gilbert Venegas Jr. in the 4th round in August.

Gallimore hasn’t competed since June 2021, when he scored a mini-upset and defeated the previously unbeaten Leon Lawson. Before that, Nathaniel lost to Sebastian Fundora, Erickson Lubin, Patrick Teixeira and Julian Williams.

Note that the Cherkashin-Gallimore fight will be the third most important fight in the Showtime boxing show card: Yoelvis Gomez and Jason Rosario will enter the ring before Morrell and Yerbosynuly.
