Crypto.com Arena, Los Angeles, USA. Former world champion American heavyweight (over 90.7 kg) Charles Martin (29-3-1, 26 KOs) knocked out compatriot Devin Vargas (22-8, 9 KOs), who in 2004 represented the United States at Olympic Games in Athens (Greece).

For Martin, this was the first fight since the early defeat to the Cuban Luis Ortiz. The fight was not included in the television part of the show (it was shown only on the YouTube channel Premier Boxing Champions).

Vargas started the fight well, but soon began to retreat from the opponent, as he was too much inferior to him in firepower. Another problem of the journiman was a cut near the eye.

By the 4th round, the fight had turned into a one-sided beating. The underdog responded less and less with blows to blows, completely switched to survival mode. In the middle of the three-minute period, Martin simply beat him at the ropes. The referee could not stand it, intervened and stopped the mismatch duel.

Martin TKO 4.
