garden TheaterDetroit, USA. In the main event of the evening, the top super lightweight prospect (up to 63.5 kg) Shokhzhakhon Ergashev (23-0, 20 KO) from Uzbekistan made an unknown Mexican
Angel Martinez (14-2-2, 14 KOs).

The underdog tried to take the center of the ring and dictate the pace and distance, but the favorite immediately put him in his place, confidently flashing through the holey defense. Ergashev controlled the distance with a jab, luring the opponent towards him, meeting with hooks and uppercuts.

In the 5th round, the fight turned into a one-sided beating of the Mexican bag fighter, after which the referee intervened and stopped the fight.

Ergashev TKO 5.

As part of the show, the Russian light heavyweight prospect (up to 79.4 kg) Ali Izmailov (9-0, 6 KOs) beat the American
Erica Murgia (14-1, 12 KOs), for which he was awarded the title of US champion by IBF.

The underdog tried to establish a comfortable distance, leaned on the jab. It didn’t turn out very well. Izmailov defended confidently, combined, often punched through the body. Starting from the 3rd round, the favorite increased the pressure, and Murgia finally wilted.

In the 5th round, the American was forced to take a power exchange in the center of the ring. Closer to the final rounds, Izmailov began to invest harder in punches in an attempt to delay his opponent, but he turned out to be a persistent fellow – he held out until the final gong.

Judges score: 100-90, 99-91 and 98-92.

Izmailov UD 10.
