Ennis will beat Crawford now, but lose to Spence – Coach Porter

Kenny Porter, father and trainer of ex-world welterweight champion Shawn Porter, praised the abilities of American Jaron Ennis (30-0, 27 KOs).

“Ennis is very dynamic (in terms of development) and I still think he needs a few more fights to reach this level. He (Spence) will be bigger on fight day, with a completely different style in terms of power and size difference. Errol is a much bigger problem than Terence. If they were fighting today, I would say Errol would beat Ennis. But today they don’t fight.”

At the same time, in another interview with another resource, Kenny suggested that “Spence will not fight Ennis” because “Spence is in a position where he can make his own decisions, unlike Ennis.” And Errol is not interested in the fight with Jaron.
