Emelianenko apologized for the defeat from Santos and again remembered the words of his brother Fedor

Russian heavyweight Alexander Emelianenko made a statement after losing to Brazilian Marcio Santos.

“Hello, hello, good people. First of all, I want to apologize to all my fans, whom I could not please yesterday with my victory. I also want to thank you for the many words of support – I see all the messages. Thank you very much to each of you! As my brother Fedor says: whoever doesn’t fall doesn’t rise!” Emelianenko wrote on his Instagram.

Emelianenko and Santos fought at the AMC Fight Nights 106 tournament, which took place on November 27 in Syktyvkar. The Russian lost by choke in the first round.

The 40-year-old Emelianenko has 28 wins, 9 losses and 1 draw. The 32-year-old Santos has 17 wins, 6 losses and 1 draw.
