ACA lightweight grand prix winner Eduard Vartanian shared his opinion on the upcoming challenger fight between Arman Tsarukyan and Charles Oliveira, which will take place April 13 at UFC 300 in Las Vegas.
“I think it will be an early finish,” Vartanian said when speaking to reporters following the league’s “Our Cause” press conference. “Certainly, Oliveira is the kind of fighter who is moving forward, and I think he will use the same tactics here as he did in the confrontation with Chandler, with whom Arman is close in terms of anthropometry and work. So, Oliveira will definitely move forward and due to his preparation and accuracy will finish Arman early”
As a reminder, the winner of the fight between Tsarukyan and Oliveira will be the main candidate to fight the current UFC lightweight champion, Islam Makhachev.
Eduard Vartanyan will have his next fight on March 2 at the Nashe Delo tournament in Moscow against former UFC lightweight Damir Ismagulov. The bout is scheduled for three rounds of three minutes each and will take place under kickboxing rules.
